Microsoft has launched East Africa’s first #Insider4Good fellowship programme 2024 affording entrepreneurs from Kenya, Rwanda, Uganda and Tanzania the opportunity to showcase their solutions for social challenges in communities, Initially Microsoft launched #Insider4Good Fellowship Programme in Nigeria and slowly the programme is expanding now for this year Microsoft Launched in Africa. All East African citizens are eligible to apply for the Fellowship.

The main objective of Fellowship programme, Microsoft is looking for entrepreneurs like you problem-solvers who think deeply about the issues confronting their communities, visionaries who create solutions that could address these issues, and leaders that grow opportunities for their solutions to thrive in the market. Your work improves the lives of your fellow East Africans and has the potential to impact the world.

Winsiders Fellowship Award Benefits

Entrepreneurs will receive a suite of Microsoft hardware and software, plus six months of tailored technical and strategic mentor ship from local and international leaders, the entrepreneurs also have to be registered members of the Windows Insider Programme and the fellowship will include a six months montorship programme with a week long bootcamp in Nairobi, Kenya.

Eligibility Criteria to apply #Insider4Good Fellowship Programme offered by Microsoft

Applicant should not be an employee of Microsoft, Applicants from East Africa are eligible to apply for the Fellowships, Applicant should be legal resident of Kenya, Rwanda, Tanzania or Uganda. Applicant should not be an immediate family member (parent, sibling, spouse/domestic partners, child) or household member of a Microsoft employee or an employee of a Microsoft subsidiary, or any person involved in any part of the administration and execution of this promotion.

Age Limit
Entrepreneurs should have minimum age limit of 18 years to eligible for the Fellowship.
