Postdoctoral Research Fellowship 2024 within Indian Cosmopolitan Alternatives Program is funded by the University of Oslo under the Department of Culture Studies and Oriental Languages to the students of any nationality who are interested to pursue a doctoral degree within the research project of the Indian Cosmopolitan Alternatives Program at the university.
The candidates are selected based on academic merit along with their personal ability and good co-operative skills and capability to join in academic collaboration within and across disciplines that are offered by the university.

Eligibility Criteria for Postdoctoral Research Fellowship 2024 within Indian Cosmopolitan Alternatives Program
To be eligible to apply for the fellowship program the applicant should hold a Ph.D. with a specialization in South Asian studies or other relevant disciplines within the humanities and social sciences and also possess an in-depth knowledge of India and preferably field experience from the country along with personal suitability and motivation for the position.
The doctoral dissertation must have been submitted and approved by the evaluation committee before the due date, the applicant should have good proficiency in the English language and the applicants from non-English language speaking countries should take one of the tests such as TOEFL, IELTS, or certificate in Advanced English (CAE) and Certificate of Proficiency in English (CPE) from the University of Cambridge.
Target group: Norwegian and foreign applicants are eligible to apply for this fellowship.
