LeO Africa Institute’s Young & Emerging Leaders fellowship program 2024 is designed to graduate selected young and authentic fellows into colleagues who are mostly focused on self-improvement, headway of vocation, and forming a dynamic future for Africa, Leo Africa came into the light with an aim of empowering of leaders in Africa with a Web of innovations for a change, the Leo Africa Institute represent the leadership development project shaped along with the principles of the African spirit of “ Agaciro ” exposing the dignity, self-worth, and identity of the African leadership values, the fellowship is mainly focused on the leadership values.
Course offered
LeO Africa institute offers fellowships to the interested candidates, the program is designed to graduate selected young and authentic fellows into colleagues.
Fields of study
The courses are offered in the fields which will empower the fellows in changing the drastic uneconomic conditions of Africa.
Value of award
No financial aid is mentioned in the notification, where the applicants who have pursued the graduate course will join the LeO Africa Institute’s Leadership Network of remarkable people in East Africa.

Eligibility criteria for Young & Emerging Leaders fellowship program 2024

The candidates who are willing to apply for the fellowship should meet the necessary requirements to be eligible for the Leo Africa Institutes Young & Emerging Leaders fellowship program the candidates who are applying should be the East African residents,  the candidate should be involved in the lives of the people in their community that impact the change in that community, the candidate should have the age limit of 18 years and 39 years, the selected students will get the aspects of 1st year undertaking the three seminars with two aspects of leadership.
Target group
To be eligible to apply for the fellowship the applicants must be the permanent residents of Uganda, Jenna, Rwanda, Burundi, and Tanzania with all necessary requirements.
Age limit
To apply for the fellowship the applicant must be between 18 and 39 years of age as of 1 January 2024.

Application procedure to apply for the Young & Emerging Leaders fellowship program 2024

Candidates can apply for the LeO Africa Institute’s Young & Emerging Leaders fellowship program is through the online mode where the applicants are assessed based on the seminars which demonstrate their leadership skills, The selected candidates will be undertaking the 3 seminars through which  their leadership skills will be demonstrated and then the applicant will be considered as the undergraduate fellow, The selected candidates will graduate as fellows after undertaking three seminars, on various aspects of leadership:
Leadership 101: The Tenets of Outstanding Leadership at Kasenge Forest Resort, Mukono
Personal Leadership: Defining and Achieving Success at Banana Village Eco Resort, Entebbe
Servant Leadership Seminar: Achieving Your Life’s Mission at Kigali
