The University of Munich LMU is inviting applications for the Postdoctoral Research Fellowship program from all fields of research who have recently completed their doctoral studies with outstanding results. Eligible candidates can apply before the last date of application registration and submissions are started on 2nd October and the deadline is 1st December 2024
The Chair of Political Systems and European Integration, Department of Political Science (GSI), offers the LMU fellowship program for a period of 3 years of Research. The main objective of the program is designed to promote the career development of early-career postdoctoral researchers and to support them in building international networks of collaboration.
The LMU Research Fellowship 2024 Program enables you to carry out your own independent research project and expand your academic profile in addition to an attractive salary and a substantial research budget, you will be provided with a workplace within one of our Faculties and may also become involved in teaching.
During the entire period of your fellowship, you will be supported by a professor from LMU who will function as your mentor. As a member of the Young Center, you will also be associated with the Center for Advanced Studies and may make use of its various services.

Eligibility Criteria to Apply for Munich University LMU Research Fellowships 2024
The candidate must satisfy and meet all the requirements. Applicants must hold a Ph.D. in political science, public administration, or international relations, as well as proven expertise in international organizations and/or global refugee policy with that candidate, should have an excellent command of English, the project’s working language, is necessary. Specialized methodological training and experience in international field research are an advantage. Proficiency in Arabic and other UN languages is an asset.
