International Federation of Library Association and Institutions (IFLA) and OCLC providing Early Career Development Fellowship, it is a four-week Fellowship program based at OCLC’s headquarters in Dublin, Ohio, USA. The fellowship is available for International students who meet eligibility requirements, this program provides early career development and continuing education for library and information science professionals from countries with developing economies.

The Fellows then translate their learning and experiences into specific professional development plans that guide their continued growth as well as their personal contributions to their home institutions and country of origin.

Total Awards: Every year 5 awards will be sponsor to the students

Fellowship Award Details
Every selected fellow receive an award benefits of Airfare, coach class, from the recipient’s home country to the United States and return trip to the recipient’s home country (transportation to and from the airport in the recipient’s home country is the responsibility of the award recipient). All travel arrangements must be made through OCLC’s travel agency. Transportation related to library visits, Lodging, Subsistence, including meals, Medical insurance.

Fellowship is open for all International students, the program gives Fellows opportunities to meet with leading information practitioners and explore topics including information technologies, library operations and management, and global cooperative librarianship.

Application Process for Jay Jordan IFLA/OCLC Early Career Development Fellowship Program 2024-25

All the eligible applicants should prepare application form including an electronic copy of their qualifying library or information science degree diploma, The application must follow the content outline and format described in the document. The completed application, including diploma copy, PLUS two letters of recommendation must be received by OCLC no later than Deadline. The application and letters of recommendation must be in English.
