Ministry of Electronics & Information Technology, Government of India announced Minority e-Scholarship Scheme 2024 notification for Pre Matric, Post Matric, and Merit cum scholarship.
The main objective of the scheme is to award scholarships to meritorious students belonging to economically weaker sections of minority communities so as to provide them with better opportunities for higher education, increase their rate of attainment in higher education and enhance their employability. It is a national Scholarship for all the students are eligible for this scholarship who comes under minority Backward castes.

Minority e-Scholarship Scheme 2024 Eligibility Criteria
Minority e-Scholarship is a national scholarship in these three types of categories are there. All the students belonging to India are eligible for Minority e-Scholarship. Candidates need to choose the category to which they are applicable. Eligibility Conditions for all the scholarships will be given below.
Minority Pre Matric e-Scholarship
Candidates who have secured not less than 50% marks in the previous final examination and the annual income of their parents/guardian from all sources does not exceed Rs. 1 lakh.
Minority Post Matric e-Scholarship
Candidates who have secured not less than 50% marks or equivalent grade in the previous final examination and the annual income of whose parents/guardian from all sources does not exceed Rs.2.00 lakh
Needed Documents
Candidates need the following documents to apply for the Minority e-scholarship
- Self-attested certificate of Previous class Mark Sheet and study certificate are required
- An income and Caste certificate is required
- A community certificate is required.
- Aadhar Card
- Student Photo and Institution verification form
- Fee receipt of current course year
Minority e-Scholarship Scheme 2024 Application Process for Fresh Students
- Log on to the official website http://www.scholarships.gov.in
- Go through National Scholarship Portal (NSP) link
- Open the application form and fill in all the required fields
- Upload needed documents in the required format
- Submit form
Completion of the application process takes a copy of the printout for the application form for further reference.
Minority e-Scholarship Renewal Process
The scholarship, once awarded, may be renewed during the next academic year of the course on the production of a certificate that the student has secured 50% marks in the examination.
