The Meltwater Entrepreneurial School of Technology is inviting all SA techies and entrepreneurs of utmost interest to join in their next group of trainees, the programme aims to provide and support its trainees with hands-on software development training, offering an opportunity to start and grow their own business with access to global markets, as well as mentoring from executives from global software companies to increase the number of entrepreneurs and ensuring the opportunity to obtain a solution to the problems that are existing in the business world.
Course offered:
MEST offers training to all the SA techies and entrepreneurs to increase the number of entrepreneurs by empowering young Africans.
Stipend and duration:
selected candidates will receive seed funding of US$50 000 up to US$100 000 includes housing accommodation for a year in Ghana, three meals a day as well as a small monthly stipend.
Eligibility Criteria for MEST Africa training program 2024-25
The applicant should demonstrate all the criteria that is necessary for the scholarship, candidate should have a strong passion that drives them towards the success,and possess several years of experience as an entrepreneur or as corporate work experience,candidate should be able to commit for a full year in Accra for the programme which is provided by MEST, that plan to create a pan-African network which will pool the collective talents of entrepreneurs and techies.

Application procedure for MEST Africa training program 2024-25
Applications are accepted online every year,qualified applicants will receive an invitation for a telephone interview with a member of the team, Applicants who pass the telephone screening will be invited to sit for a written exam in the nearest test center in their home country,In-person group and individual interviews take place in all eligible countries, selected candidates will receive an offer from the university.
