Institute of Research Field (IFR) offers Merit-based scholarships for Research students in the field of Archaeology, it is our hope that regardless of the career path such students may take, an archaeology field school will establish a lifelong relationship with the discipline and an understanding for the importance of the past to our collective human future.
Current student or student who graduated in the past five years from any institution of higher education (community college, university, etc.) anywhere in the world.
IFR Merit-Based Scholarship Award Value: $2,500 each. The IFR scholarship sum will be deducted from the cost of an IFR field school, this IFR Merit-Based scholarship has no cash value.

IFR Merit-Based Scholarships 2024 – Eligibility Criteria
Applicants should be admitted to IFR field school and candidates who are receiving other scholarships are also eligible for the IFR Merit base scholarships, Candidate should have a minimum GPA of 3.0 (equivalent to 80% grade average) and the applicants from all the countries are eligible for the international scholarship who are in the research field of Archaeology. This IFR International scholarship may not be applied to any field school outside those offered by the IFR.
Age Limit
The candidate must be 18 years old or older on the day the field school begins.

IFR Merit-Based Scholarships 2024 – Application Process
All the eligible candidates can apply for IFR Merit-Based scholarships through online mode on the official website at http://ifrglobal.org/students/scholarships on or before the deadline. Upload names & email addresses of two persons that will send a recommendation letter on your behalf. All recommendation letters and supporting documents must be submitted by the application deadline. Incomplete application forms will not be accepted.
