FIPRS also known as Flinders International Postgraduate Research Scholarships 2020 are offered annually and the round is highly competitive, The FIPRS is awarded based on selected criteria to candidates who demonstrate outstanding aptitude for independent research and are also considered on the basis of academic merit, academic research training and research indicators and performance,The scholarship is offered to a limited of 10 number of awards for up to three years for a Research Doctorate degree and up to two years for a Research Masters degree,successful applicants are required to undertake full time study in research higher degree in Australia for the first time.

Value of award
selected student will receive a tuition fees charged by Flinders University for a research higher degree, along with that it also includes generous living allowance paid at the rate of $26,288, It is tax exempt and indexed annually,An FIPRS student who moves to Adelaide from overseas is eligible for an establishment allowance of up to $1,485 to assist with relocation costs and airfares, provided receipts can be produced by the student.
Eligibility criteria for Flinders International Postgraduate Research Scholarships 2020
To be eligible to apply for FIPRS scholarships applicants must meet the University’s academic entry requirements for a Masters degree by research or Doctorate by research, and applicants are required to have successfully completed at least the equivalent of any Australian First Class Hons degree that is with a four year degree course along with a major project, applicants must have met the English proficiency levels set by the university with communication skills,students for whom English is a foreign language will need to provide evidence of their English language competence, applicants must not hold an equivalent research higher degree qualification to apply for scholarship, applications are only open to students commencing a research higher degree in Australia for the first time for the university.
Applicants must not hold Australian citizenship, Australian permanent resident status or New Zealand citizens in order to apply for FIPRS scholarships.

- applicant should not provide more than five publications, where additional publications may be noted on their CV or in a separate list
