European Development days initiates a programme of young Leaders where 16 candidates all over the world with the age group between 21-26 are invited to share panel with world leaders and talk about their experiences, present their ideas, and help shape the future of world development. European Young Leaders get the chance to visit European institutions, participate in workshops, meet key policymakers and interact with other young people driving change around the world.
They will speak at various sessions and enjoy full access to the whole conference. Travel and accommodation is covered by the European Commission.This will be a global platform for the youth with leadership qualities.
Award
The award is given to the young people who have innovative and creative approach towards the world development and European Development days provides them a chance to exhibit heir views and encroach their views with the world leaders. This make the young people to be innovative and make them more responsible and accountable to their nations.

Age limit
Applicants under the age group between 21 and 26 can participate in the program.
NationalityApplications are open to young adults from all around the world, without any restriction of nationality and with good communication skills can participate.
Eligibility for EDD Young Leaders Programme 2024
- Applications are to be submitted in one of the following official European Commission languages: English / French / Spanish. The candidate must be able to speak clearly and comprehensively in one of these languages, and it is mandatory to have an intermediate level of English.
- Applicants can be able to travel to participate in the program with in the prescribed time.
Selection Criteria for EDD Young Leaders Programme 2024
The following are the required criteria to be satisfied to participate for program:
- 40% knowledge of the topic chosen by the applicant should be relevant to the commission topic . We encourage candidates to show how their activities have had an impact on the community.
- 30% of candidate representative role should be exhibited and expressed in their views.
- 30% applicants public speaking skills and ability to speak at a high-level panel.

Mostly online application form will be released in the month of March, 2024, fill the form with necessary details and to speak on the topic relevant to the topic given by the European Development days and the selected candidate will be eligible to give representation in program.
