Sky sport Academy Scholarships 2024 for Young Athletes is for the future sportspersons who are from Europe and dreaming of a better career in sports, Scholarship program is aimed to provide financial aid to athletes from a wider range of sports and for the first time includes Scholars specializing in tennis, modern pentathlon and climbing, the candidates who have applied for the scholarship should have a different and exciting story,
And Sky will closely support them as they take the next steps on their journey, the award aims at providing financial, mentor and wider development support, as well as media training the Sky Academy Sports Scholar program, aims to give additional support and aid exciting young athletes in fulfilling their potential on the international stage
Value of the award
There will be 10 scholarships places awarded to the UK and Ireland athletes in individual discipline sports, annual 10 – 12 awards are released where these 10 athletes will receive an award of £30,000 a year and access to the highest level of mentoring and media training.

Applications are open to the sportspersons of Europe who are under 16-25 years of age, they should possess a world top ten ranking in their respective event that is age group dependent, along with a British top ten ranking with an ascending performance profile, and the applicant should be able to display strong potential to be a medallist or finalist at the next Olympic Games.
The candidate has to be a strong medal contender for the next Commonwealth Games and displays all the qualities and attributes that show an attitude to be the best, the applicant must be able to demonstrate a strong personality profile to be a face of the Sky brand, has all the essential credentials and personality to be a strong and influential role model, with good communication skills or has the willingness and openness to want to improve.
