Bernt Anker Sons of Norway Scholarship 2022 is offering scholarships for the academic year 2022 to the students of United states of America who are interested to pursue undergraduate courses, the scholarship is intended to provide an opportunity to students who are devoid of parents and support as students who come from a two parent household, the objective of the scholarship is to provide four year undergraduate course to the students by treating them as normal students and offering job opportunities to plan their career

The scholarships are offered to pursue undergraduate course to the students of United states of America to pursue their education in Norway.
Value of the award
Each scholarship will be for up to $3,000 each and has the potential to be renewed for up to four years, for a total of up to $12,000 for each scholarship recipient, renewal of the scholarship will be dependent on follow-up communications with the Sons of Norway
Foundation Director.
Eligibility criteria for Bernt Anker Sons of Norway Scholarship 2022
The applicant’s who are willing to apply for the must possess certain criteria such as, the applicant should be American citizens who have applied to or are enrolled in an accredited, four-year, post-secondary institution or a two-year community college with the intent of continuing toward an undergraduate degree in the US and they must have a certificate of completion from high school or are about to graduate from high school where preference will be given to students without parents or to students raised by single parents and the candidates may only receive two Sons of Norway scholarships in a five-year period.

Applying candidates should be the permanent residents or citizens of United states of America to be eligible to apply for scholarship.
Age limit
The applying candidates should possess an age limit 17- 25 years to be applicable for the Bernt Anker Sons of Norway Scholarship.
Documents to be submitted
- A short autobiography, 150 words or less
- An essay of 500 words or less
- Two letters of recommendation
- For students without parents one recommendation letter verify their situation, on institutional letterhead from either high-school guidance counselor, or an official office of their college

Candidates should submit their completely filled application form and upload all required supplementary attachments to the portal, where final selection of the scholarship winners will be made by a scholarship committee appointed by the Sons of Norway Foundation, scoring is dependent on the use of complete sentences, proper grammar, and inclusion of information outlined in the essay requirements listed above, notification of the award will be made within 10 weeks of the deadline.
