Ghanaian Engineers & Architects Association of America Scholarships 2018 (GEAAA) are available to the students of Africa who are interested to pursue graduate & undergraduate courses by providing practical solutions to technological problems pertaining to Africa, as well as contribute to its economic growth & quality of life, the Ghanaian Engineers & Architects Association of America Scholarships are categorised in to two types they are GEAAA Dr. Osei Kwabena Gyebi Scholarship Fund & GEAAA Prof. Nicholas Kumapley Scholarship Fund, it is completely merit-based scholarship.
GEAAA is offering Undergraduate & Graduate courses for the students interested in pursuing education from Africa.
Value of the award
Under GEAAA Dr. Osei Kwabena Gyebi Scholarship Fund Students receive US$ 500 & Non-Students receive US$ 1,000, under GEAAA Prof. Nicholas Kumapley Scholarship Fund the students receive US$ 200 to U$500.
Eligibility criteria for Ghanaian Engineers & Architects Association of America Scholarships 2019
GEAAA Dr. Osei Kwabena Gyebi Scholarship Fund
The applicant be of African Descent where priority is given to Ghanaian descent, candidate should be from a University or Polytechnic Student, Researcher, Artisan & should have prospective career in research in fields of science & technology including, but not limited to, any of the following areas such as Agriculture – mass & year round production techniques including irrigation, rain harvesting or cloud seeding to augment precipitation Mechanical Engineering – equipment, machinery, tools Energy, including renewable energy Electrical Engineering Civil Engineering – clean water supply, sanitary or wastewater treatment, transportation, infrastructure Information Technology & Communication, Bioengineering, Chemical Engineering, Architecture & City Town Planning – affordable housing techniques Sciences & other Allied Professions, along with any other Technological Contributions.
GEAAA Prof. Nicholas Kumapley Scholarship Fund
Applying candidate should be a University or Polytechnic Student either Undergraduate or Postgraduate education in the fields of Engineering, Architecture, Science or Mathematics & the candidate must be able to demonstrate high academic achievement in Engineering, Architecture, or Mathematics or Science, & the applicant should be planning a career in Engineering, Architecture or Mathematics or Science, & the candidate must demonstrate strong interest in developing concepts that contribute towards Solutions to technological challenges in Africa.
The applying candidate from African Descent where priority is given to Ghanaian descent with all requirements are eligible to apply for the scholarship.

- Narrative of Not more than 500 words for GEAAA Dr. Osei Kwabena Gyebi Scholarship Fund & a description of research, career or other interest as it contributes to the goals of the Scholarship Fund, & a narrative with a word limit up to 350-400 words for GEAAA Prof. Nicholas Kumapley Scholarship Fund

- Academic Transcripts or Proof of Admission, if a student
- A Letter of Recommendation from individual in supervisory position.
- For non-student applicants the Fund is given in a form of grant, Provide a proposed Budget & Justification
