UWIDEF Scholarship 2019 from MONA campus for Undergraduate students to study in Jamaica, University of the West Indies has provided the OSF Undergraduate Scholarship at Faculty of Humanities & Education in Jamaica….
The University of the West Indies (UWI) has provided the Undergraduate Scholarship through Office of Student Financing (OSF) from UWI Development and Endowment Fund (UWIDEF Scholarship) to the UG students for the main source of alternative tuition financing.
The UWIDEF Scholarship giving from 1990 to provide various facilities the students who have to wish to continue their undergraduate studies and postgraduate research, from UWI Development and Endowment Fund (UWIDEF Scholarship)and the major fundraising of UWI Mona campus have been financed by contributions from annual donors.
Eligibility of UWIDEF Scholarship 2019
- The student who is Jamaican national, and who was studying a full-time UG course in Mona Camps and who is pursuing a full-time undergraduate programme in the Bahamas are eligible to OSF Scholarship.
- The Student who already hold a first degree, the who study their programme at least Level-2 Under special circumstances, applications will be considered from first-year students and students who must prove that he/she is unable to meet the maintenance budget as established by the University.
- The applicant must be able to prove that they have exhausted or been turned down for all other available sources of financing for reasons not connected with non-payment of previous loans.
- The applicant should have failed no more than one course. In exceptional cases where it can be established that lack of funds has contributed significantly to the poor academic performance, some consideration may be
given
UWIDEF Scholarships 2019 How to Apply
The Eligible UG & PG Students can apply via the SAS portal to the Scholarship & Bursaries and the application form for General Financial Assistance must be completed through MOMA OSF portal and fill the forum with complete details of the applicant with complete details and the application forum download available at MONA University OSF portal.
The Students can please note the University of the West Indies has not processed the incomplete application forms, so check once again before submission of your application, and the students who have verified the students can get $250,000 each scholarship value for the academic year of 1st, 2nd & 3rd-year and the scholarship based on student Academic performance with the Condition of 200 hours of volunteer service with UWIDEF.
