West Virginia University offering PROMISE Scholarships for Under Graduate courses under The West Virginia Student Aid Management System. The PROMISE Scholarship is a merit-based financial aid program for West Virginia residents, Students who achieve certain academic requirements are eligible to receive funds to help pay for college, candidates who are eligible and interested to apply for the scholarships can get complete scholarship details and eligibility conditions before going to proceed registration process.

The PROMISE Scholarship will pay $4,750 per year or the cost of tuition and mandatory fees, whichever is less, at any eligible institution, and the award payment will be made directly to the West Virginia college or university of your choice. PROMISE Scholarship awards and FAFSA Filing must be used to cover the cost of tuition and mandatory fees, Students have six years from the date awarded to utilize their PROMISE award, unless they are enrolled in the military and then the time is extended. Funds can only be used to pay for undergraduate coursework that applies to the students academic program.
