The Shahbaz Sharif Merit Scholarship (SSMS) is a revolutionary step of Govt, of the Punjab which will enable the youth to study at the top-ranked educational institutions of the world and play their role in strengthening & uplifting the economy of Pakistan under the Punjab Educational Endowment Fund. Scholarships will be awarded to the students who are pursuing courses in Top Ranked universities in the world.
SSMS Ph.D. Level Foreign Scholarship 2024 – Benefits
Ph.D. Scholarships awarded under PEEF SSMS are fully funded and will cover Tuition fees of the Degree Course including Boarding & Lodging (as per approved rates) and Air Fare.

PEEF SSMS Ph.D. Scholarship 2024 – Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must fulfill and satisfy all the eligibility conditions, Applicant should be a citizen of Pakistan country, Candidate must valid Ph.D. admission offer from one of the Top 50 (Subject Wise) Universities of the World (QS ranking) in the preferred subject areas.
Candidate academic score should not be less than 60% marks throughout the academic career and their monthly family income (including self, spouse, and parents) is equal to or less than Rs. 200,000 are eligible to apply for the SSMS Ph.D. scholarship by PEEF. Not availed of any foreign scholarship in the past and must take up the scholarship in the year for which it is offered and the scholarship shall not be deferred to the next year.
Note: Existing permanent/regular faculty members of public sector teaching / educational institutions of Pakistan are not eligible to apply for Shahbaz Sharif Merit Scholarships (SSMS).
Age Limit
Candidate upper age limit should not exceed 35 years on the date of notification.
