This fellowship is given to the interested students who want to conduct a project in Germany along with one year intensive German-language course from the developing nations.The climate protection fellowship is fully supported by Federal Environment Ministry’s (BMU) International Climate Initiative in Germany, the fellowship will enable the candidate to acquire not only practical knowledge of climate protection but also expertise in management, fellows are free to choose their own hosts irrespective of involvement of organization.

Eligibility Criteria for Germany International Fellowship in Climate Protection 2024-25
The following are the criteria that the contesting candidate should posses to apply for International Fellowship in Climate Protection for Developing countries, candidate should submit a detailed statement by a host in Germany, including a mentoring agreement to have accommodation in the country.
Educational qualification:
- Candidate should hold Bachelor’s degree or its equivalent completed with outstanding results from recognized university less than 12 years prior to the start of the fellowship.
- Candidate should demonstrate leadership skills.
- Professional experience in a leadership role in the field of climate protection for 48 months or a further academic or professional qualification are required.
- Very good knowledge of English and/or German.
- Additional requirements- Initial practical experience gained in the context of climate protection projects from any project under any organisation.
Age limit:
No age limit is prescribed the candidates who have pursued their under graduation with good score are eligible to apply for the International Fellowship in Climate Protection for Developing countries.
Nationality:
The students only from a non-European transition or developing countries or the emerging economies are eligible to apply for the scholarship.
