The Angus Australian Foundation offering Angus Youth Member scholarships to participate in the World Angus Forum Youth Programme and Angus Youth, Now Angus Youth is inviting applications for nominations. Eligible Students can form a team of 4 members and only 3 teams from each country will be taken into consideration.
Total Scholarships: 4
Scholarship Value: Total price per team is £3000 including social events, accommodation, food, and travel within Scotland.

Eligibility Criteria for World Angus Forum Scholarship 2024
Applicant must be a financial member of Angus Youth or Angus Australia. Applicants who are not having financial membership can apply for the financial membership forms available at the Angus Australia website. In each country’s maximum of 3 teams will be accepted and each team includes 4 members in that one person’s gender is different from the others.
The person did not have the possibility to change the team throughout the competition. Each team needs to involve in the following skills.
- Stockjudging
- General Knowledge
- Agri-skills and activities
Required Skills
Applicants should need the following skills to be applicable to the scholarship
- Ability to handle livestock
- Ability to drive machinery
- Have a general grasp of farming knowledge
- Be in general good health
Age Limit
The applicant age limit should be between 18 to 25 years.
Conditions to getting World Angus Forum Scholarship 2024
- Participants must be available for the entire duration of the competition (21st June – 3rd July)
- Each team must raise $2,000 to assist in covering expenses associated with the event.
- Each participant must be able to organize their own passport flights and travel insurance.
- Within two weeks of returning, a full event report must be given to the Angus Australia Foundation.
Application Process of World Angus Forum Scholarship 2024
Applicants should need to complete some steps to complete the registration process at https://www.angusaustralia.com.au/.
The participant’s team should need to make a short video introducing yourself and your involvement with Angus Youth and Angus cattle, stating why you think you deserve a place on the Australian team and any specific skills and/or knowledge you would bring to the team. Complete the WAF youth competition to get the nomination.
Selection Process
All the applicant teams 4 teams will be shortlisted, All the Nominations and videos will be reviewed by a selection panel, Selected students will have a Telephonic interview conducted by officials.
