NYDA Solomon Mahlangu Scholarship 2024 Fund in South Africa is funded by the National Youth Development Agency which is developed with a key objective to offer financial aid to the youth of South Africa to pursue or commence higher studies which in turn will increase their opportunities for employability or entrepreneurship based on the positive corresponding relation between the level of education and employability, to be known it is one of the largest scholarship programs of South Africa where it enables the youth to pursue their studies at the local public universities and universities of technology.

Solomon Mahlangu is offering scholarships to pursue higher studies to the youth of South Africa, Full-time degrees that fall within the priority growth sectors, critical and scarce skills areas outlined in the labor planning framework of the country.

Scholarships are provided in relevant fields that are offered by local public universities and universities of technology in Africa.
Value of award
Selected candidates have received a scholarship which includes tuition fees, accommodation, meals, study Books, and other related expenses.
Eligibility Criteria for NYDA Solomon Mahlangu Scholarship 2024
Applicants should possess the necessary criteria to be eligible to apply for the scholarship, the applicants should be high school learners who plan to attend one of the public universities or university of technology after completing the National Senior Certificate, and must meet University Admission Points Score and achieve an average of 70% in the NSC exam, applicants should demonstrate their financial need by having a combined household salary of less than R15 000 a month, the applicant should be resided in rural or semi-rural areas to be applicable for the scholarship.
Target group
Applicants who are permanent citizens residing in rural or semi-urban areas of South Africa are eligible for the scholarship.
Age limit
All the candidates who are interested to apply should have an age limit between 14 to 35 to apply.
Application Procedure to Apply for NYDA Solomon Mahlangu Scholarship 2024
Applications will be open for the candidates annually in the month of September, application can be made by online mode, post, or email, applicants should submit their Grade 11/ Grade 12 mid-year results but certified copy of matric certificate, the organization forms a committee to select the candidates based on applications, if the applications are made by post the form is to be sent to Solomon Mahlangu Scholarship Fund, VDG House, 8 Victoria Road, Plumstead, Cape Town 7945, or emailed to studentfunding@studentfundingportal.com.
