Cameroon Women’s Scholarship 2024 for Masters Program is offering applications to students of Cameroon who are interested to pursue master’s degree levels in Cameroon’s state Universities or private Higher Learning Institutions, the scholarship is mainly targeted towards women with strong leadership potential and must be able to demonstrate financial need to continue their studies.

Annually twenty women are granted the British High Commission Cameroon Women’s Scholarship in partnership with the Cameroon Women’s Scholarship Alumni and the Cameroon Chevening Alumni Association for the studies related to commonwealth values and principles.

Courses offered
British High commission is offering scholarships to the interested students of Cameroon to pursue undergraduate courses in the fields of Human Rights, Rule of Law or Governance, Information and Communication Technology, Science and Technology, Development studies, Media Management and Legislation, Security related to International Security, Security Management, Terrorism, Regional Development, Conflict Resolution, Peace Studies, and Public Health.
Value of award
The selected candidates will receive an award that provides for a lump sum of one million francs (FCFA 1 MILLION) and two mandatory leadership training for all laureates.

Eligibility Criteria to Apply for Cameroon Women’s Scholarship 2024 for Masters Program

The Cameroon Women Scholarship is open to those who meet the criteria such as, prior to applying for the scholarship the applicant must have received an offer of admission from the university to pursue undergraduate study, the applicant must be a woman national of Cameroon, and must hold an undergraduate degree or an equivalent of 3 – 4 years undergraduate studies in any field with a grade of at least a Second Class upper (Hons) along with that the applicant must have at least two (2) years work experience to apply for the scholarship.

1. A completed scholarship application form
2. A personal statement with a maximum of 800 words that demonstrate the candidates leadership potential, accomplishments and career goals
3. An updated Curriculum vitae which includes contact details of two referees

Application and personal statements submitted by the candidate should be in the English language, Only the above three documents are needed at the first stage, candidates shortlisted for interview will be required to submit copies of university-level transcripts and all academic certificates, the applicant should submit the application form along with documents supported through email at camwomenscholarship@gmail.com, without delay.
