The University of Bologna awards 40 scholarships to the students with financial difficulties but excellent academic result.

The study grant or the amount is awarded for only one academic year. The total amount is €11,059 which is given to the selected ones.

There is a long list of requirements that the applicants need to fulfill before they actually apply for the program, Here is a list of the metrics that one needs to fulfill:

• One needs to be qualified for admission to the chosen First, Single or Second Cycle of the degree program in an institute that is situated outside the Italian education system
• The qualifications issues by Republic of San Marino will not be accepted
• The applicants need to fulfill the requirements of the degree program that they have selected
• The students at the University of Bologna of First, Single or Second Cycle degree programs are not eligible for applying
• Those who have benefited from the study grant Unibo Action 2 are not eligible for this program
• The applicant should not be 30 years or more
• They need to complete the exams of SAT and GRE before applying. SAT is for those who are registering in First or Single Cycle Degree Program. The GRE is applicable for those who are registering in Second Cycle Degree Program
