University of Sheffield Engineering International Scholarships 2024 is offering undergraduate scholarships to the students of the international arena or the permanent citizens of one of the listed countries who are interested to pursue an undergraduate engineering course in all the related fields that are offered by the university.
The scholarships are for full-time and part-time students only, students studying online or via distance learning are not applicable for the scholarships, and part-time students will receive the full value of a one-year scholarship split pro-rata over the duration of an equivalent single full-time academic year.
Fields of study
The University of Sheffield is offering undergraduate scholarships to the students starting their studies in the Faculty of Engineering such as Aerospace Engineering, Automatic Control & Systems Engineering, Bioengineering, Chemical & Biological Engineering, Civil & Structural Engineering, Computer Science, Electronics & Electrical Engineering, Materials Science and Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, MEng Engineering.
Value of the award
The scholarships are amounted to £2,500 per year for each candidate and will be awarded unconditionally in the first year of study, applicant can also receive this in each subsequent year of study, subject to achieving 60% or above in the previous academic year, the scholarship can be awarded in conjunction with other University of Sheffield scholarships as long as the individual does not become fully funded, for tuition fee purposes, as a result of the sum of these awards, the scholarship will not be awarded where partial funding to offer a tuition fee discount to the student.

Eligibility criteria for University of Sheffield Engineering International Scholarships 2024
To be eligible to apply for the scholarship the candidate must hold an offer of a study place, the scholarships will take the form of a tuition fee reduction only, as they cannot be used for further purposes, candidates must be self-funding and classified as overseas for tuition fee purposes, part-time students will receive the full value of a one year of scholarship split pro-rata over the duration of an equivalent single full-time academic year.

All applications for undergraduate study in the UK, including the University of Sheffield, must be made through an organization called Universities and Colleges Admissions Service or UCAS, all applications must be made online through the UCAS website, the scholarship will be awarded automatically for the next year where no application is required in the first or any subsequent years.
