Taiwan International Cooperation and Development Fund is offering International education and training through one of the core operations, under Higher Education scholarships, Human resources development programs play an important role in assisting its partner countries to achieve sustainable development, and education, scholarships are offered in the fields of undergraduate and other higher programs in Taiwan.

The Taiwan ICDF Organisation is offering scholarships in courses of Undergraduate (4 years), Masters (2 years) and PhD (4 years) Degrees, number of scholarships are limited.
Value of award
Selected candidates will be provided with full scholarship, which includes return airfare, housing, tuition and credit fees, insurance, textbook costs and a monthly allowance.
Undergraduate program- NT$12,000 per month
Masters degree -NT$15,000 per month
Post graduation- NT$17,000 per month
Eligibility criteria for Taiwan ICDF Scholarship 2024-25 in Taiwan
Applying candidate should satisfy the admission requirements of the partner university to which candidate applied to study under a Taiwan ICDF scholarship, after receiving an offer from organisation they should not hold any other ROC Taiwan government-sponsored scholarship such as the Taiwan Scholarship in the same academic year in which the Taiwan ICDF scholarship would be due to commence, candidate should not be applying for a further Taiwan ICDF scholarship in unbroken succession of their academic year.
Target group
Candidates of the region of Asia Pacific, West Asia, Africa Burkina Faso, Republic of Cote d’Ivoire, Nigeria, Sao Tome and Principe, South Africa, Swaziland, Caribbean, Central America, South America, Europe can apply for this scholarship.
Application procedure
- Photocopy of applicant’s passport or other document showing proof of nationality.
- Photocopy of applicant’s highest-level diploma and academic transcripts.
- Photocopy of applicant’s English proficiency certificate.
- Two letters of reference.
- Any other documents specifically requested by an ROC (Taiwan) Embassy/ Consulate General/ Representative Office.
Every applicant can only apply for one program at a time, The applicant also needs to submit a separate program application to the universities opted by the candidates,Applicants must complete an online application and submit it to the ROC (Taiwan) Embassy/ Consulate General/ Representative Office in their country.
Application deadline for Taiwan ICDF Scholarship 2024-25
Online application period runs from January 1 to March 16, 2024 to submit application forms for the academic year 2024, interested candidates can apply before deadline.
