Eligibility Criteria for Lissie Rathbone Undergraduate Scholarships
To be eligible to apply for the undergraduate scholarship the candidates must be under nineteen years of age on the first of December immediately preceding the date of the award of the scholarship, and must have completed their matriculation from the accredited University,there will be no gender discrimination to apply for scholarship, the applicant must be resident of New Zealand for one year preceding the award in the University of Canterbury district and have been enrolled as internal students of the University in a course for a degree, within the prescribed time of award from the University from time to time.
Age limit
The applicant must be under 19 years of age to apply for the scholarship.

Application procedure to apply for Lissie Rathbone Undergraduate Scholarships
As the is applying for undergraduate course in the fields of English and History the applicant should achieve an award of NCEA level 3 or 4 or equivalent university and to be submitted as a proof to apply for scholarship, Each scholarship shall be awarded upon examination for excellence in the subjects of English and History, provided that the Council shall not be bound to award the scholarship to the candidate solely on quality of achievement in such subjects but may in its discretion take into account the financial circumstances of the scholar where the the applicant should initially receive an offer from the university of Canterbury to apply for the scholarship and submit the completely filled application form with relevant documents.
