Fully-funded Commonwealth Shared Scholarships 2024, developing countries are offered by the commonwealth scholarship commission and the UK and was funded by the Department of international development, this was established with an objective to financially support the students of developing nations.

And who have not received any stipend during their graduate courses will be supported to undergo master’s degree and funded annually, the main aim of the scholarship is to contribute to the development needs of Commonwealth countries by providing training for skilled and qualified professionals and academics who have not undergone their studies in the UK.

Eligibility criteria for Fully-funded Commonwealth Shared Scholarships 2024

The applying candidate should satisfy the required criteria to be applicable for a scholarship, where the applicant must be available to start their academic studies in the UK by the beginning of the new academic year in the months of September or October, candidate must hold a first degree of either first or upper second class that is 2:1 classification, or lower second class that is of 2:2 classification in addition to a relevant postgraduate qualification which is usually a Master’s degree, the applicant must not have studied or worked for one academic year or more in a developed country, the applicant must demonstrate financial need, Sponsoring institutions must confirm that candidates are sufficiently fluent in written and oral English to pursue their proposed studies immediately, as there is no pre-course English Language Teaching is available under these awards.
Target group
Applying candidate must be a Commonwealth citizen, refugee, or British-protected person or a permanent resident in one of the developing Commonwealth countries to apply for the scholarship.
