Engineering for Development (E4D) Doctoral Scholarship 2024 is designed to improve the standard of living of poor people in developing nations by providing financial assistance to the students who are interested to pursue PhD or Doctoral studies in the field of engineering for development, annually two doctoral fellowships are offered by the organisation, Engineering for development (E4D) Doctoral Scholarship is funded by the Sawiris Foundation for Social Development, the doctoral courses are offered at ETH Zurich which is based at Switzerland, the applicants are selected based on academic merit.

Engineering for Development (E4D) Doctoral Scholarship 2024 Eligibility criteria

The candidates applying for Engineering for development (E4D) Doctoral Scholarship should fulfill the requirements that are specified by ETH Zurich such as, the research topic that is selected by the applicant should be innovative and relevant for development of the engineering, the project should have a great impact on the target group or the developing countries, applicant should conduct the project in partnership with or in collaboration with developing countries, academic criteria are not specified for application process whereas the criteria are considered for the admission process

Application procedure to apply for Engineering for development (E4D) Doctoral Scholarship 2024

The candidate must submit printed, signed and completely filled application form along with supporting documents to the ETH Zurich through email by the supervising ETH professor to patricia.heuberger@sl.ethz.ch to apply for Engineering for development (E4D) Doctoral Scholarship, candidates are informed to submit application as early as possible, the applications submitted are matriculated by Doctoral Administration Office, the selected candidates will be informed within two weeks after the completion of the deadline and eight weeks for entire admission process, Students submitting applications during a period when there are no lectures will always be matriculated for the following semester, registrations without an original signature from your supervisor and incomplete applications will be rejected.
