Santander and Aston University is providing scholarships to the students who are interested in pursuing Masters or PhD from UK, applying candidates should be from one of the countries that are listed below, the candidates are selected based on academic merit, the Aston university offers two scholarships annually, the successful scholars will be required to sign an agreement with the Aston University International Office to share their experiences of application, arrival, studying at Aston, lecturers and lectures, and student life.
Award:
The award is given to the selected students who are interested in pursuing Masters or PhD from UK. Number of scholarships are two.
Value of award:
The selected candidates are provided with a scholarship of £5,000 in any subjects offered by the university.
Eligibility Criteria for Aston University Scholarships 2018-2019 for Full-time Masters Programme
The following are the criteria that the contesting candidate should posses to apply for Aston University Scholarships for Full-time Masters Programme in UK- 2018, if applying candidate have an existing UK postgraduate qualification will not be eligible.
Educational qualification:
- A candidate should posses a minimum 2.1 / Upper Second classification in their undergraduate Bachelor’s degree in the UK.
- A candidate should posses a minimum GPA of 3.0 (out of 4.0) in their undergraduate an degree from a overseas institution.
Age limit:
No age limit is prescribed in the application form candidates should go through the notification before applying.
Nationality
The students belonging to Argentina, Colombia, El Salvador, Jamaica, Belize, Costa Rica, Guatemala, Mexico, Bolivia, Cuba, Guyana, Nicaragua, Brazil, Haiti, Panama, Chile, Ecuador, Honduras, Paraguay, Peru, Puerto Rico, Suriname, Uruguay, USA, Venezuela and the Dominican Republic are eligible to apply for the scholarship.

- An essay of word limit 500 words is to be sent on the topic given in the official notification
- scanned copy of your passport showing candidates nationality .
