University Of Leeds Masters Scholarships 2020, UK are offered to the students of Africa who are interested to pursue masters degree from the University of Leeds, the scholarships are funded by the Faculty of Environment, Institute for Transport Studies (ITS), the aim of the scholarship is to provide opportunities to the students who are having outstanding ability, the scholarships form part of the ITS mission to advance the understanding of transport globally via the development of skills and best practice, ten scholarships are offered annually for a period of one year on a full time basis, scholarships are scrutinised on competitive basis.
University of leeds offers masters degree course annually for a period of one year on a full time basis to the students who are interested to commence studies in UK, number of scholarships are 10 (ten) annually under University Of Leeds Masters Scholarships.
Fields of study
Courses are offered in the fields of MSc Mathematical Modelling for Transport, MSc Sustainability in Transport, MSc Transport Economics, MSc Transport Planning, MSc Transport Planning and the Environment, MSc (Eng) Transport Planning and Engineering.
Value of award
Selected candidates will receive 50% tuition fee scholarship each worth £8500, it is provided to develop opportunities to students of outstanding ability.
Eligibility criteria for University Of Leeds Masters Scholarships 2020, UK
To apply for the scholarship the candidate should possess necessary requirements to be eligible the applicants must be African Students, and the candidates must have completed their bachelors degree program with an equivalent of a UK first class or upper second class honours from an accredited university, applicants must have applied or applying to University of Leeds to pursue necessary course and the candidates must be self-financing students, that is they can be able to finance their own expenses and fund their studies
Applying candidates should be the residents or permanent citizens of Africa to be eligible to apply for the scholarship.

Documents to be submitted
- a statement of up to 500 words which details how and why a Masters degree from ITS would enable the applicant
- details of their funding situation, including existing funds which are available to them
- Provide a supporting statement from a referee
- academic transcripts of relevant studies

Applicants should receive an offer from an university prior to apply for the scholarship as the candidate should provide 9- digit Banner id to complete the application form, Preference will be given to applicants who would otherwise be precluded from undertaking a Masters programme, candidates should submit the relevant application form along with necessary documents with in due time.
