University Of Toronto Mastercard Foundation Scholars Program 2024 is established with a motto empower the students of Sub Saharan Africa with high qualified education that is by offering bachelor’s degree courses, the Scholars Program is implemented or funded through the partner universities and NGOs that serve young people from vulnerable backgrounds of University of Toronto.
The scholarships are completely merit-based is academic criteria are considered to select the eligible candidates for enrollment in the university, candidate should have a strong desire to return to Africa to assist and work towards enhanced regional socio-economic development.

To be eligible to apply for the MasterCard Foundation Scholars Program is open to students who are residents and citizens of a Sub-Saharan African country, and a graduating high school student of a country within Sub-Saharan Africa, and the applicant must be able to demonstrate financial need correspondent to that of the lowest two quintiles of your country and have very strong academic results along with a record of leadership and extracurricular involvement,
The candidate must have completed graduation from a recognized secondary school, or have completed the necessary academic requirements, applicant must demonstrate good English language skills.
