UBC Faculty of Forestry is offering scholarships to the students of India as well as commonwealth nations of Africa who are interested to be a visiting scholar for a period of four months, the applying candidate should be enrolled in a postgraduate program before they apply for the scholarship, the main aim of the scholarship is to activate a young global leaders across the Commonwealth to create long-lasting impacts at both home and abroad through inter-cultural exchanges encompassing international education, discovery and inquiry, and professional experiences through the program.
Award: The award is given to the students who are interested to be a visiting scholar for a period of four months, The number of scholarships are not specified.
Value of award:
The value of the scholarship includes the airfare maximum upto C$2,100, and living expenses C$1,550 per month for up to 4 months.

The following are the eligibility criteria that a candidate must meet to apply for UBC Canadian Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee Visiting Scholarships 2020-21, Candidates must agree to return to their home country after the study visit and sign a form to this effect as part of their acceptance of the award.
- Candidate should be currently enrolled as a master’s or PhD student in India or Commonwealth countries in Africa
- Applying candidates should have good writing and speaking skills in English.
Age limit :
Candidate who are applying for the scholarship should possess age under 35 years
Candidates belonging to India as well as from Commonwealth countries in Africa are eligible to apply for the scholarship.
