Riga Graduate School of Law (RGSL),Latvia, Europe provides international scholarships to students who want to pursue their undergraduate or master’s degree programme in the university. The scholarship is open to students all over the world. Under the scholarship the tuition fee amount of the candidate is bared by the university for one year. RGSL aims to make their programmes more accessible to students from Europe and all over the world, and encourages students to enroll in the university that offers a high quality law education.
Award
The award is given by the Riga Graduate School of Law where it offers tuition fee waivers to foreign students on the Bachelor and Masters programmes.
Value of Award
The candidate who ever is selected for scholarship will receive awards that covers tuition fees for one academic year. The Award will grant a 500 euro tuition fee waiver for the next semester for one outstanding student on the Law and Diplomacy programme and one on the Law and Business study programme in each study year.

Programme Offered:
The following are the programs offered by Riga Graduate School of Law :
- Under the Bachelor programme –Law and Diplomacy and Law and Business and
- Masters programmes –Law and Finance and International and European Law (and its sub-programmes).
Criteria to apply
- good English language and communication skills
- Exceptional knowledge in two fields from lecturers who are leaders in their field
- Wide opportunities to spend part of your studies abroad
- Fellow students from around the world
- Education recognized by employers.
Nationality
- To be eligible to apply for scholarship candidates should not be currently registered as residents of Latvia, are considered as foreign students and eligible to study at Riga Graduate School of Law.
- All nationals other than Latvia are welcome to apply.
Application procedure for RGSL Excellence Award 2024 for Foreign Students in Latvia
In order to apply for a scholarship, the candidate must submit the following:
- Application documents
- A letter of motivation concerning the opportunity to win this scholarship.
- The RGSL Tuition Fee Waivers Committee will review all applications, taking into consideration the applicant’s academic performance (overall average grade) and compliance with admission requirements.
