Eligibility criteria for Karlstad University International Scholarships 2020
Candidates who have already hold a master’s degree from a Swedish university, applicants having hold a scholarship for studies from Swedish Institute or from a Swedish university, as well as having permanent residentship or having lived in Sweden for two years or more are not eligible to apply, the applicants are selected based on high academic performance and who demonstrate a strong commitment and desire to study at Karlstad University, the scholarship offered for first year is not valid for second year.
Target group
Applicants who are outside EU/EEA are eligible to apply, applications from the countries Bangladesh, Bolivia, Burkina Faso, Cambodia, Ethiopia, Kenya, Mali, Mozambique, Rwanda, Tanzania, Uganda and Zambia are not accepted to apply.

Applicants should submit transcript of records showing that the prerequisites are met, documented knowledge of English through the TOEFL test or IELTS test, and an offer of admission from the university, the applicant should submit printed and signed scholarship application form, together with supporting documents should be sent to Karlstad University, Studentcentrum, 651 88 Karlstad, Sweden, An offer of a scholarship is only valid for the year and the programme stipulated in the scholarship notification, applications submitted after the deadline are not considered.
