The Government of Iran is pleased to announce scholarship offers to the African Union Commission, through the Department of Human Resources, Science and Technology, to enable African students to study in Iran.
The Department encourages and provides technical support to the Member States in the implementation of policies and programs in the Science, Engineering, and Technology fields, Applicants can go through complete scholarship details, and the Iran Government Scholarships 2024 are intended for studies leading to the award of Masters (MSc), or Doctorate (Ph.D.) degrees in the following Engineering, Science and Mathematics fields:

Iran Government Masters and Ph.D. Scholarships 2024 – Eligibility Criteria
The Iran Government Scholarships is open for all African Nationals, and the award is applicable for Master’s programs and Ph.D. programs for Post Graduation courses Candidates should hold an undergraduate degree from a recognized university, with at least a second class upper division or its equivalent, in a relevant field, for Ph.D. courses Applicant should hold A Masters degree in a relevant field from Pan African University or any internationally recognized university
Age Limit
The African Students or Applicant’s upper age limit should be 26 years for a Master’s course and 31 years for a Ph.D. course.
Supporting Documents for African Students Masters and Ph.D. Scholarships by Iran Government
- Certified copies of relevant certificates, transcripts, and personal details page of national passport (at least six months valid)
- Two (2) clear colored passport size photographs (3*4)
- Recommendations from 3 Professors
- Health Certificate
- Completed Application Form
- Applicants for Ph.D. programs are required to send in a 3 to the 5-page research concept note
Iran Government Masters and Ph.D. Scholarships 2024 Application Process for African Students
