British Council offering 8 scholarships for Tanzania graduation students to support in their education to continue higher studies, the BG Tanzania International Postgraduate Scholarship Scheme 2021 for Geoscience and Engineering is aimed at Tanzanian graduates who want to complete their postgraduate education in the UK and access future employment opportunities in the energy and related sectors.
Tanzanian Higher Education Institutions covering 15 energy-sector related Engineering courses relevant for the development of Tanzania’s natural gas sector, it is funded by BG Tanzania and administered by British Council Tanzania.
Eligibility Conditions for British Council National Post Graduate Scholarship 2021
Applicant should be a citizen of Tanzania, and the candidate should pursuing Post Graduation course in Tanzania country, Scholarships will be granted for full-time courses. Candidate should be able to meet the relevant course entry requirements set by the participating universities. Applicant should have completed a relevant graduate degree in Geoscience, engineering or a related subject area and be able to demonstrate an adequate standard of English language comprehension. The British Council National Post Graduate Scholarship 2021 Covering a range of 23 taught courses at four UK universities, the scheme is funded by BG Tanzania and administered by the British Council Tanzania.
Benefits of Award under the scheme
The British Council Scholarship 2021 award covers 12 months period of time, British Council National Post Graduate Scholarship award covers academic tuition fees, research costs, direct student costs, including accommodation, living allowance etc., as agreed with each of the respective Higher Education Institutions.
