Breda University of Applied Sciences Scholarships 2024 are offered to the students of South Africa who are interested to pursue postgraduate studies in Ireland, the scholarships are funded by the Embassy of Ireland in South Africa in collaboration with Canon Collins Trust.
The applicants must have received an offer from the university prior to applying for the university, candidates must have already applied for a course at an institution in Ireland, if the candidate has already been admitted to a university they are not eligible, annually thirteen scholarships are offered to the eligible candidates.

Courses offered
Breda University offers postgraduate courses to the students of South Africa who are interested to pursue studies in Ireland.
Fields of study
Candidates are offered courses in the fields of Business Management – Economics, Accounting, and Human Resource Management, Management and Business or Agriculture, Food Science & Nutrition in Agriculture, Climate Change, Rural Development and Sustainability, Food Security and Applied Sciences or in the field of Public Administration – Economics, Accounting, and Human Resource Management, Public Health and Global Health.
Value of award
Scholarships offered by the university include tuition fees, a return flight to Ireland, and a monthly stipend, insurance, and a settling-in allowance, the scholarship does not provide for any dependents, and fellowships will only be awarded only after receiving offers from the university.
Eligibility Criteria For Breda University of Applied Sciences Scholarships 2024
Applicant should be a South African citizen or a citizen of Zimbabwe and must have achieved the necessary standard to be accepted onto a postgraduate course in an institute of higher education in Ireland, be seeking funding for a full-time postgraduate program in one of the subjects offered.
The candidates are selected based on criteria such as academic Merit, transformative power of a scholarship, study plan, commitment to the ideals of Kader Asmal, leadership Competencies & Personal Qualities, applicants who are already in possession of a Master’s degree are not eligible.
Target group
Applicants who are South African citizens or a citizen of Zimbabwe holding a South African Permanent Residence Permit are eligible to apply for the scholarship.
