The Robert E. Dougherty Educational Foundation is pleased to announce RED scholarship applications to provide financial assistance of up to five awards to students pursuing a career in the composite panel and affiliated industries. Member companies are encouraged to share scholarship program information with potential applicants. The Foundation is funded by CPA and generous donations from member companies.
Individuals and corporations are encouraged to further support the program by making a financial contribution to help sustain this important industry program. Candidates who are eligible for the scholarship can apply on or before deadline.

R.E.D Educational Foundation Scholarship 2024 – Eligibility Criteria
Applicant must be a citizen or permanent legal resident of the US, Canada or Mexico. Student must be enrolled full-time in undergraduate or post-graduate study for the spring. Students must be enrolled in one of the following academic major subjects.

- An official school transcript.
- Write a 1 to 2-page essay answering one of the following questions:
- What do you see as the biggest challenge facing the North American wood products industry?
- Describe a major issue within your field of study and what you would do to help/alleviate the problem?
- A recommendation letter
