Wellcome Trust offering Intermediate Fellowships to Low and Middle income countries for the students who are in the field of research on Public Health topic, This scheme helps mid-career researchers from low- and middle-income countries establish independent research programmes in those countries, The scheme aims to support research that will improve public health and tropical medicine at a local, national and global level. Students who are in the research field of Public Health can apply for the Fellowship on or before deadline.

Wellcome Trust Intermediate Fellowships 2024 – Eligibility Criteria
Applicants who are from low and middle income countries who are doing Ph.D research in the fields of Public Health and Tropical Medicine are eligible to apply for the Fellowship. Candidates who don’t have a PhD or degree in medicine, we may still consider you if you have a first or Master’s degree and can show substantial research experience. This scheme may be of particular interest if you’re an early-career fellow and this fellowship is the next step in your career as a research scientist.
Wellcome Trust Intermediate Fellowships 2024 – Application Process
All the eligible candidates must submit application through the Wellcome Trust Grant Tracker (WTGT), Wellcome Trust may take up to three to four months to consider your full application.

Throughout the year application will be accepted.
Selection Process
All the applicants only some of the students will be shortlisted for the Fellowship. Students who are shortlisted for the Fellowship can have interview session. Interview schedule for shortlisted candidates will be intimated through communication details. Based on performance in Interview final list will be made for Fellowship. Once Fellowship has been granted 5 years Fellowship will be applicable.
