Shell Oil Company is putting forth its yearly grants through the Shell Incentive Fund Scholarship program to underrepresented understudies seeking after a college degree in a particular specialized field of concentrate at specific universities, if the necessary criteria are met, a student’s scholarship may be renewed up to four years or until Bachelor degree requirements are met, whichever occurs first, Scholarship recipients are notified during the summer following their application, renewal of the scholarship is contingent upon the student remaining qualified. Field of Study: Technical field (Geology, Geophysics or Physics; Chemical, Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, Petroleum, Geological, or Geophysical Engineering)
Scholarship Value: Selected students will receive scholarship value of $5,000 in awards towards tuition and/or books for duration period of 4 years.
Eligibility Criteria for Shell Incentive Fund Scholarships 2024-25 for US Citizens
Applicant should be citizen of US, to be eligible for the scholarship applicant must be native to nominees must be Black (Not of Hispanic Origin), Hispanic/Latino, American Indian, or Alaskan Native, Applicant should be enrolled full-time as a sophomore, junior, or senior in one of the specified institutions. Opens in new window Have a minimum 3.2 cumulative GPA (on 4.0 scale), which must be maintained throughout your participation in the program. Applicant should pursue courses in any one of the above fields are eligible. Applicant should be a member of an under-represented race/ethnicity in the technical/science academic areas. Eligible students who are getting scholarship should renewal their scholarship every year for a period of up to 4 years.
