The Prairie View A&M University (PVAMU) is providing a fellowship for undergraduate students by REEU Summer Program for Undergraduate Students in water quality, the goals of the scholarship program are to provide practical experience in learning, to make agriculture a passion for students, and to provide a path after the graduation, students are made a pair with a mentoring faculty, the faculty well nurture the knowledge of students in agriculture, try to cultivate students interest and try to help the students in setting their individual educational and research goals.

Fellowship values
In the Fellowship a student will get a practical education and research training in water quality, these internships are under agricultural specialists, $2,500 stipend, free housing in Texas, 3-hours of college credit, a food allowance of $150 per week, to participate in water conference $250 will be given as traveling allowance, chance to go to Belgium Environmental Science and Engineering Study Abroad program.

Eligibility Criteria for REEU Summer Program 2024-2025
The candidate should be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident, studying Agriculture science or environmental/agricultural engineering, Freshman or Sophomore classification, minimum age of 18 years, should have a total minimum of 2.75 GPA, preference will be given to students from an under-represented group (African-American, Hispanic, American Indian, first-generation college student).
