The New Zealand Foreign Affairs & Trade has invite the New Zealand Development Scholarship 2018 application registration from Fiji students to continue their study in New Zealand and this is a yearly scholarship that is offered to the Fiji students by the New Zealand Government. It is provided to those who are financially struggling.
Information about types of scholarships
There is not one but three types of scholarships provided for the eligible applicants. Here is a brief detail of the same.
New Zealand Regional Development Scholarships (NZRDS): This is available for the students who are at Pacific based tertiary institution. It is for both undergraduate and post-graduate level.
New Zealand Pacific Scholarships (NZPS): Both the undergraduate and postgraduate students are allowed and eligible to apply for the scholarship
Short Term Training Awards (STTA): These scholarships are available for those who are pursuing skills-based and vocational training in New Zealand. The course needs to be for a period that is less than one year. The application for these scholarships can be lodged at any time of the year.
