National Bioinformatics Scholarships (NBS) 2024 is offering scholarships annually to the students who are pursuing education in Bioinformatics, the scholarships are funded by the IBI solution and Co-sponsored by OTH for life sciences or IT aspirants in India, the applicants should be the permanent citizens of India to be applicable to apply for the scholarship, E-Bios stand for Examination for Bioinformatics (NBS) scholarship are offered to the IT students or the aspirants of life sciences through the examination conducted by the E-Bios, where the scholarships are completely based on the academic merit and the score obtained in the test.

The scholarships are offered to the students who are having life sciences and IT in their graduation and are interested to pursue further studies in the same field.

relevant scholarships are offered in the fields of Bioinformatics and other related life sciences.
Value of award
A total number of 151 scholarships are sponsored by IBI solution and CP-sponsored by OTH for life sciences which totally amounted to Rs 5 lakhs, candidates are selected based on the examination conducted by IBI solutions.

Eligibility criteria for National Bioinformatics Scholarships (NBS) 2024

To be eligible to apply for the National Bioinformatics scholarship the applicant should satisfy the necessary criteria such as the applicant must be a permanent citizen of India, the scholarships are offered to the students who are having life sciences and IT in their graduation and are interested to pursue further studies in the same field, the applicant should have a minimum of 60% marks in qualifying examination, candidates who have passed or studying in the final year of their graduation can apply for the scholarship, it should be sure that the candidate having only the Life science and it graduation are eligible to apply for the scholarship.

Candidates who are permanent residents of India along with all necessary requirements are eligible to apply.
