Kader Asmal Fellowship is available only for the students of South Africa or Zimbabwe or a permanent resident of South Africa, there 8 scholarships given to the students who are going to pursue post graduation in Ireland, these scholarships are only for the students who are going to do post graduation in Business management (Economics, Accounting, Human resource Management and Management and Business), Agriculture, Food Science & Nutrition (Agriculture, Climate Change, Rural Development and Sustainability, Food Science and Food Engineering, Bioresource Technology) and Public Administration (Economics, Accounting, Human Resource Management, Public Health, Health Economics and Health Engineering), After pursuing post graduation a fellowship is offered to one of the candidates on Human Rights Law in Trinity, Dublin. The Kader Asmal fellowship is offering a total of 8 scholarships for the postgraduate students and a single fellowship in the Human Rights Law in Trinity, Dublin.
Value of Scholarship
It funds the complete tuition fee of a candidate which include University fees, tuition fees, examination and other fees, it also give allowances for travelling (from and to country of residence), settling, books and study allowances, student visitor visa money and a sum of the amount is given for accommodation and other living expenses.
Nationality
To be eligible to apply for these scholarships the person must be of South African region.
Eligibility Criteria for Kader Asmal Fellowship 2020-21
The candidate should be holding a South African Permanent Residence Permit, should have good excellence in academics (achieved the necessary standard to be accepted onto a postgraduate course in an institute of higher education in Ireland), a candidate who is going to join postgraduate programme in one of the above listed subject areas, be able to take up fellowship in the academic year 2020/2020.
