The University of Edinburgh is providing scholarship to Tanzanian students who want to pursue PhD in any subject from the university, only one scholarship is provided by the university annually it is fully funded.N.B, the Julius Nyerere Master’s Scholarship is a highly competitive and only the best candidates with all the desired qualities are are considered, Interested applicants should note that they should held a First Class Honours degree to apply, Applicants with a 2:1 Honours degree will be considered if they can show a very strong academic skills with a good experience.

The scholarships awarded to selected student by University of Edinburgh , the number of scholarships provided by university is only one.
Value of award:
The value of the award is the applying candidate should will be given £10,000 including tuition fees, living costs along with travel expenses from UK to Tanzania.
Eligibility Criteria Julius Nyerere Fully-funded Masters Scholarship 2024-25
The following are the required qualifications that an applicant must posses:
- The scholarships will be awarded to candidate who is accepted for admission on a full-time basis for a postgraduate Master’s programme of study at the University of Edinburgh.
- Candidate who already hold a degree from outside Tanzania will not be considered as eligible to apply.
- Applicants should already have been offered a place at the University of Edinburgh and should have firmly accepted that offer or be intending to do so.
Nationality:
The scholarships are open to Tanzanian students who have completed their graduation or its equivalent are eligible to apply .
Application procedure to apply for Julius Nyerere fully-funded masters scholarship for Tanzanian students – 2024-25
The scholarship is provided for only one year, Applying candidates should attach documents of their educational qualification along with their nationality document along with application form with their copies, the completed form should be sent to university either by e-mail or by post.
