Jawaharlal Nehru Memorial Fund inviting scholarship applications to PhD students in different areas, Eligible scholars can get scholarship details and apply for the scholarship before closing date
Applications are inviting for Jawaharlal Nehru Memorial Fund Scholarship 2024 to Indian citizens who are pursuing PhD courses in different fields. This scholarship will be offered for two categories students in India like Indian Nationals and Nationals of Asian countries. This year also the JNMF (Jawaharlal Nehru Memorial Fund) offers the scholarship in order to study PhD in different areas like The interested candidates need to apply for this scholarship and send the application form before the last date of closing. The recipient who selected for this scholarship will be offered for period of 2 years.
Field of Study
PhD course in Indian History and Civilisation, Sociology, Comparative Studies in Religion & Culture, Economics, Geography, Philosophy, Ecology & Environment.
Scholarship Details
Selected students will be benefited from scholarship fund up to 2 years duration of time. Each scholar will receive scholarship amount of Rs 18000 per month maintenance allowance including tuition fee, contingent expenses INR 15000 per annum.
Eligibility Criteria for Jawaharlal Nehru Memorial Fund Scholarship 2024
Scholarship is Open to all Indian nationals and nationals of other Asian countries. Applicants must hold a 1st class degree with a minimum of 60% marks in both graduate and postgraduate level. Applicant must be a full-time Ph.D. scholar. Applicants who are benefiting from other scholarship fund are not eligible to the scholarship.
Age Limit
Applicants should not be above 35 years of age. Age relaxation will not be applicable to the scholarship.
Required Documents
- A passport size photograph to be pasted on the form.
- A synopsis of the proposed project as per the attached format.
- Doctoral Monitoring Committee’s report or Supervisor’s report/recommendations.
- Postal Order/Demand Draft for INR 100.Ph.D.
