The Global Excellence are scholarships are offered by Calouste Gulbenkian foundation, Landon the scholarships are given in the PhD degree throughout the fields of the arts, charity, science and education for Armenian students,The main aim of the scholarship programme is to foster high-quality research and to build new collaborative linkages between Armenian researchers and global networks of innovation to produce future researchers with utmost knowledge in the relevant fields.

Stipend and duration
The candidate selected for Calouste Gulbenkian foundation global excellence scholarship receives 50,000 USD per year for a period of four years.
Eligibility Criteria of Global Excellence PhD Scholarships 2024-25
The following are the criteria an applicant must be possessed in order to be eligible for scholarship, Applying candidate should be currently admitted or already pursuing a PhD degree from an internationally recognized research institution of higher education, as a full-time student for the academic year for which the scholarship is being applied Armenian Students who are selected for scholarship cannot be combined with another major grant.
Target group
Candidate who are citizens holding a permanent citizenship with all necessary requirements are eligible to apply.
Age limit
Candidates who are applying for scholarship should not be no more than 35 years old during the time of application.
