Women in Tech Africa is an international organisation which provides an opportunity for women as well as interested men to develop their skills and ready to make a difference in the general existing developmental growth of Africa with special focus on technological development and entrepreneurship, the aim of the organisation is to provide pipeline for the girls to probe towards the development of technology, the candidate applying for the Global Champion for WiTA should be voluntary in involvement in the training offered.
Courses offered:
The university provides research work or training for an hour or more than hour in additional cases till the time fixed by the institution,Number of awards are up to 12.
Fields of study:
The candidates should be involved in the following fields
- Social Media English-2 spots,Social Media French-2 spot
- Operations offline
- Operations online
- Blog operator-English,french(2 spots each)
- Blog editors
Value and duration:
The organisation provides certificate of WiTA Global Champion along with development of skills and knowledge.The scholarship provides network with 20,000 members and other gazetted officers.
Eligibility Criteria for Global champions Women in Tech Africa (WiTA) Awards 2024-25
The following are the criteria an applicant must be possessed in order to be eligible for the award, individuals or the candidates either women, girls, men or boys from different professional backgrounds and skill sets qualify to partake who are interested to take part in the technological development and the entrepreneurship in the Africa, Candidate applied to Global Champion for WiTA, require candidate involvement and it would be voluntary, No funds will be available to cover the costs of your participation.
Target group:
Candidate from countries belonging to Africa with all eligible criteria are eligible to apply.
Age limit:
Applicants who are below eighteen (18) years are encouraged to apply for the WiTA Global Champion programme awards.
