The University of the South Pacific (USP), Fiji introduced a USP Student Bursary Scheme to provide financial assistance for the countries of the USP for Under Graduation and Post Graduation courses. The purpose of the USP Student Bursaries Scheme 2024 is to support students who lack the ability to pay tuition fees, it also seeks to support needy students. Students who qualify will have their partial fees refunded, the University provides opportunities for students to realize their dreams by awarding scholarships and financial assistance to their studies.

Fijian USP Student Bursary Scheme 2024 – Eligibility Criteria
The candidate should have a GPA score of 2.5 or more than 2.5 in the previous semester, and the applicant’s family income should not be more than $25,000FJD per year. The University of the South Pacific shall give priority to the allocation of bursaries in the event that application for the bursaries greatly exceeds available funds, using the following criteria
- GPA
- Family Income
- Year and Level of study
All the registered students are eligible for a bursary with the exception of the following conditions
- Students supported by sponsorship or scholarships schemes;
- Fiji undergraduates eligible for TELS or NTS, whether or not they have applied-a declaration is required and shall be checked with TSLB;
- Students enrolling for the first time at USP;
- Students who are recipients of the USP staff family tuition concession scheme;
- Doctoral students;
- MBA students and students in other self-funding programs such as Foundation Studies and Pacific TAFE;
- International students.
