Ramakrishna Mission Institute of Culture inviting applications for Debesh-Kamal Scholarships 2024 for Higher Education / Research Abroad to pursue Post Graduation or Ph.D. courses. Debesh-Kamal Scholarships will be awarded by the Ramakrishna Mission Institute of Culture, Kolkata, to deserving candidates for the purpose of higher education/research abroad.
The scholarship will be open to Indian nationals irrespective of caste, creed, or religious faith. All eligible applicants should apply for the scholarship before the closing date.
Field of Study
The preferred subjects of study/research are the humanities and the basic sciences, but candidates in other disciplines, such as social sciences and applied science and technology, will also be considered.

Eligibility Criteria for Debesh-Kamal Scholarships 2024 for Higher Education / Research Abroad
Indian Citizens are eligible for the scholarship. The candidates must have a uniformly good academic record with first class marks at the Honours or Post-graduate level, relaxable by the Selection Committee. Students who have obtained 1st class in Honours or Masters degree from an Indian University/College and have obtained a letter confirming admission in a subject into a foreign university are eligible.
Age Limit
The applicant’s age limit should not exceed more than 30 years. Age relaxation will not be applicable to the scholarship as per norms.
Application fee
Candidates will have to submit, along with their applications, a Postal Order/ Bank Draft for Rs. 100/- in favor of the Secretary, Ramakrishna Mission Institute of Culture, as the application fee which is not refundable.

Send the application form along with the required documents to the following address on or before the closing date. The incomplete application form will not be accepted.
