Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, The Water Works Operators’ Association of Pennsylvania (WWOAP) sponsoring David A. Long, Ph.D. Memorial Scholarship to high school students who may select an out of state institution. The main objective of the award is to encourage higher education relating to the water works industry.
Total No.of Scholarships: 2 Scholarships
Scholarship Award Value: Selected candidates can receive an amount of $1,500 and also provide to winners a free student membership for WWOAP.
David A. Long PhD Memorial Scholarship 2024 Eligibility Criteria
Applicant should be resident to U.S. Applicants currently who are pursuing Under Graduate course can be eligible Preferably in a course of study that will have application to the water supply industry and has not previously received this award. A Pennsylvania Resident, but may select an out of state institution, such as a technical institute, college, university, or graduate school. You are considered a PA resident if you: Pay PA income tax (or your parent(s)), Applicant should process valid driving license, registered to vote in PA, registered a personal property such as your car with PA.
