The Cyprus Institute (TCI) is providing scholarships to the students who are interested in pursuing Doctoral studies or Ph.D. in Cyprus in the fields of Energy, Environment and Atmospheric Sciences, Computational Sciences Science and Technology in Cultural Heritage.
Applying candidates should have acquired good academic excellence in their previous grades of education, it is a fully-funded scholarship where the Ph.D. program is offered for a duration of 3 years. Applicants are shortlisted for scholarships based on academic scores and called for interviews.
Award:
The award is given to the selected students who are interested in pursuing Doctoral studies or Ph.D. in Cyprus Number of scholarships is 25.
Value of award:
The selected candidate will receive a scholarship which includes tuition and bench fees of 16,400 Euro per annum, a stipend of 14,000 EURO per annum for living expenses along with travel expenses.

Eligibility Criteria for Cyprus Institute Dean’s Distinguished Scholarship 2024-25
The following are the criteria that the contesting candidate should possess to apply for Cyprus Institute Dean’s Distinguished (TCI) Scholarship for Doctoral Studies, Applicants are shortlisted for scholarships based on academic scores and called for interview, University evaluates all eligible applications according to the Institute’s selection criteria where the decision is not reviewed further.
Educational qualification:
- Applicants must hold a master’s degree from a recognized accredited institution, with a strong academic score.
- Applicant should acquire a GPA of at least 3.5 (on a 4.0 scale) or its equivalent.
- Applicants should possess good GRE general test scores rather the institute accepts IELTS (at least 6.5) or TOEFL (at least 570 paper-based or 220 computer-based) and TWE certificates.
Age limit:
No age limit is prescribed in the application form candidates should go through the notification before applying.
Nationality
The students from Cyprus and international with all eligible criteria are eligible to apply for the TCI scholarship. No nationality restriction.
